The British pig sector has a fantastic story to tell. Pig businesses across the country produce a range of fantastic and versatile pork products to high welfare standards, with an environmental footprint to be proud of.
The National Pig Awards are all about celebrating the very best of the British pig industry, rewarding excellence, highlighting good practice and helping to tell that positive story.
This year’s event will see 14 National Pig Awards handed out at a gala ceremony in London in November that will bring the industry together for its biggest night of the year. Tickets are on sale now.
You can enter by completing the application form for the relevant categories. We also encourage you to nominate businesses or individuals you think have excelled and deserve recognition.

Head judge Stewart Houston highlighted the benefits of entering. “Over the years, the award winners have been such great ambassadors for the industry and have inspired others. We are often told how just being a finalist, let alone winning, gives a lift to the individuals or teams involved,” he said.
“If you have something to shout about, I would really encourage you to do so or to nominate a person or business that deserves that recognition. Remember, all finalists receive two free tickets to the big night.”
