PIC said it would holding further online events after its ‘Virtual Pig Fair’ was well attended this week.

PIC decided to run a Virtual Pig Fair Stand in the absence of the Pig and Poultry Fair, which would have taken place on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.

More than 170 people tuned in, gaining online access to the new ideas and information, with a Competition thrown in, PIC said. “The popularity demonstrates how adaptive the UK pig industry is and its ability to embrace the tools and resources available,” it added.

In thanking customers for their attendance and great feedback, PIC said it was planning on holding further events in the coming period to support the industry.
