SWAT Automatic Flying Insect Killer from Cox Agri is “on guard” 24 hours per day. It uses an automatic dispenser along with a powerful, yet naturally derived, insecticidal aerosol spray that can be set to dispense up to 24 hours each day, providing more than a month’s coverage from each can.
The spray contains the active ingredient pyrethrin, an extremely potent yet naturally derived insecticide, sourced from a specific strain of chrysanthemum. It’s non-toxic to livestock.
Cox Agri marketing manager Susan Goodfellow, who was involved in the trials for SWAT with her flock of free-range laying hens, says she was amazed by the product’s knockdown power
“It controls flies incredibly well within the specified area,” she adds. “And, of course, it works all day, every day, so you just don’t need to think about it. We used SWAT in both the hen sheds and stables to great effect.”
