The annual BPEX confidence survey is currently being sent out to people across the pig industry.
The survey not only gives a snapshot of the level of confidence in the industry, measured by the willingness to invest, but also gives people the chance to comment on the organisation, which is funded by pig producers and processors.
New for this year is a question on what BPEX should be concentrating on to give the industry the greatest help.
BPEX’s head of knowledge transfer and communications, Andrew Knowles, said he urged anybody that received the questionnaire to spend just a few minutes filling it in.
“It’s important as it enables us to compare confidence in the industry now with previous years and to see how BPEX scores,” he added.
“If anybody would like to take part who does not receive a questionnaire, it can be also completed online.”
