We are recruiting an Outdoor Pig Stockperson for a farm in Norfolk (NR24).
Our client is an independently owned free-range pig production company that produces premium top-end pork products.
They are looking for someone to work across all areas of the unit and further develop their skills.
This is not your typical large-scale commercial herd but a 110-sow specifically bred with premium quality in mind for the new markets.
The producer is looking for someone to bring their ideas to the table. Candidates with strong tractor-driving and telehandler skills will have an advantage.
The whole operation, from breeding to finishing, is done outdoors on a 5-week system, and they also breed their own gilts.
Applicants must be able to commute to NR24.
Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 DOE
Plus:
28 days of annual leave
A workplace pension
Boots and overalls provided
Hours: 40 hours per week, weekend rota, 1 weekend in 3 (4 hours per weekend day).
