We’re recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for an indoor unit in Yorkshire, YO25.
The producer is looking for an experienced pig stockperson with strong hands-on breeding knowledge who shows enthusiasm and a passion for working in the pig industry.
Duties include:
Working as part of a dedicated team across different departments of this breeding-to-weaning unit
Farrowing
Serving
Piglet care
Weaning
Loading
Mucking out
Power washing
Assisting with the general responsibilities of the unit
About You:
Experience working with pigs, particularly breeding
Good physical fitness – the role involves strenuous manual tasks
Ability to follow procedures with attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Hours:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday 06:00 – 15:00, working 1 in 3 weekends.
