Hygiene solution company Mirius will be welcoming six delegates from its Argentinian distributors in September – and is looking for a pig farm to host them.
The planned dates are September 9 or 10 and the visitors will consist of the company’s general manager and swine team, plus some of Arentina’s biggest pig producers and farmers.
Elizabeth Belhadj, the company’s business development manager – healthcare, said: “We would like to show them how an indoor pig farm works in the UK, just so they can see how we do things in the UK. This is simply an educational trip for them.
“No photographs will be taken. They are especially keen to see good biosecurity in place and will, of course, be pig free for the visit.
The host does not need to be a Mirius customer, but as a way of thanking the pig farmer, the company will supply some of its OMNICIDE (liquid disinfectant) or VIRUCIDAL WP (powder disinfectant), both Defra- approved, as a gift.
