British Pig & Poultry Fair 2016 opens to new exhibitors in two weeks

Businesses wishing to gain first-time exhibitor access to next year’s British Pig & Poultry Fair will be able to apply for stand space from August 1, once repeat exhibitors have exercised their right to rebook.

“Last year’s event was such a success that over 50% of exhibitors have already rebooked their stand space for 2016,” said head of technical events for organisers’ Grandstand Stoneleigh Events, Alice Bell.

“More than 93% of the 10,318 visitors rated the last Fair as good or excellent, and said it was valuable for their business, while 98% of exhibitors said it met all of their objectives.”

The biennial event returns to the National Agricultural Exhibition Centre at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, on May 10-11, 2016, and will be themed around innovation and technology, helping pig and poultry producers to harness the tools and ideas required to drive their businesses forward.

The event, which is partnered by compound feed supplier, ABN, also includes new technology and advice, ranging from animal health and genetics to nutrition, housing, processing and marketing.

“More than 70% of visitors intended to make changes to their business following the previous event,” said ABN national sales manager, poultry & game, Daniel Johnson, “It really is a unique chance to see the latest new equipment and services from over 320 exhibitors, gather advice and network with other producers.”
