Kate Mellor has been appointed to the role of key account manager for pig genetics company PIC UK.
She will be joining the business on October 18, having spent time with the business in the run up to that date to acquaint herself with colleagues and producers.
She joins us from Oxfordshire-based pig business ASH Farming, where she is part of the senior management team with responsibilities throughout the production system and business operations.
Previously, Kate spent five years in AHDB’s knowledge exchange team where she progressed to senior manager and she also managed the farming and pig production operations on the family farm, ensuring she joins the business with a wealth of practical and industry experience.
