Somerset-based Hysolv will take over the sales and distribution of the range of hygiene products, mainly for the pig and poultry industries, previously handled by Hysolv Animal Health UK, following the decision to close that company.
The range of vaccines produced by IDT Biologika that were distributed by Hysolv Animal Health UK will now be distributed by Ceva’s UK team, after the acquisition of that part of IDT’s business by Ceva Santé Animale.
Hysolv director, Jim Bigmore (pictured, left) said: “The current range of Hysolv disinfectants have been shown, through APHA tests, to be among the most effective in controlling salmonella and campylobacter.
“We are grateful to Hysolv Animal Health UK for the work they did in bringing products, such as Interkokask and Intercid, to the UK market.”
Fellow Hysolv Ltd director, Nikki Vine, will be in charge of customer care, while Mr Bigmore will provide general support and poultry industry sales will be the responsibility of Joe Powell.
“We will be recruiting more staff to take these products into new business sectors,” said Mr Bigmore.
