More than 1,000 lots will be offered when Peter Crichton disperses the outdoor pig equipment from Teffont Magna Pigs at Ox Drove, Bowerchalke, Salisbury, Wiltshire (SP5 5LU), on Saturday July 5, 2014, at 11.00am.
The last of the pigs from the 1,000-sow herd, which produced weaners on a BQP contract, left the site before the end of May. The herd was PRRS negative, with good conventional health levels and vaccinated against EP.
The lots on offer include:Â
- 80 x Challow galvanised frame farrowing kennels with ply panels, insulated roof & rear ventilation flaps
- 19 x Hudson 16ft x 16ft sow barns with ply-clad panels & box profile roofs (to be sold as flat-packs)
- 2 x Hudson 16ft x 32ft AI tents with Morgan internal pens & fittings
- 40 x John Booth 12ft dry sow arcs with lift out rear doors
- 15 x John Booth 10ft dry sow arcs with lift out rear doors
- 18 x John Booth 20ft x 9ft 6″ service arcs (approx 2 years old) with lift-out rear doors
- 18 x John Booth 20ft x 9ft 6″ service arcs (approx 2 years old) with lift-out rear doors
