We’re recruiting for a Pig Stockperson for an indoor unit in Yorkshire, YO26.
Our client is looking to employ, ideally, an all-round pig stockperson to work on the weaner, grower, and finisher side of the business.
The farm is second-generation, with a 750-sow indoor unit from breeding to finishing.
This is a modern pig farm with efficient systems that deliver excellent productivity.
Duties to include:
To cover the weaner, grower, finisher section, but with skills to assist with breeding
Teleporter and tractor skills welcome, but training can be provided
Checking of pigs to ensure high welfare standards
Feeding
Pressure washing
Scrapping through
Work well within a team
Salary Guide:  £30,000 – £40,000 p/a (incl. OT) DOE
