We are recruiting a Pig Stockperson to work on an indoor pig unit in Greater Manchester, WN6.
The chosen candidate will assist the existing team on a 450-sow breeding unit.
Candidate Specifications:Â
- High pig husbandry understanding
- Ideally, 1 year + experience with commercial pigs
- Our client will also consider committed individuals who require training
- Good ability to maintain high welfare standards
- Self-motivated to achieve continuous performance improvements
- Enjoys working as part of a dedicated team
- Ability to take responsibility
- Willing to contribute towards continual improvement through new ideas and developments
Salary guide: £27,000 to £31,000 DOE
Plus, single-person accommodation on-site if required.
Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 (Monday – Friday, with every other weekend).
