We are looking for an ambitious and committed stockperson to lead a small team of staff based out of IP9, Suffolk, responsible for a cluster of free-range pig farms.
The successful candidate will have experience working with pigs, preferably outdoors. Though previous leadership & management experience is welcome, we would value applications from candidates who are prepared to take the step up into a management position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Maintaining exceptional standards of welfare for stock at all times and ensuring positive stock performance
* The operational management and development of a team of staff
* The safe usage & maintenance of a fleet of vehicles and farm infrastructure
* Ensuring our high standards of site biosecurity, maintenance and presentation are maintained at all times
* Proactively and effectively communicating with our Executive Team and wider staff about stock health, performance and farm maintenance
