The business: A rare opportunity has arisen to join our redeveloped, modern pig breeding and grower unit in Waddingham, North Lincs, as an Assistant Farm Manager on our 750-sow farm.
The Job: Involvement in all aspects of the farm production closely supporting the Manager – standing in, in their absence. Working within a progressive team of 6 on a recently developed farm with loose lactation farrowing pens, low ammonia slurry acidification systems and new nursery accommodation. Attractive remuneration DOE and staff benefits package including staff discount, health benefit package, pension and death in service insurance. Leadership development training provided.
The Candidate: Great opportunity for an existing Assistant Manager, a head of dept looking for the next step or for an experienced stockperson wanting to take a step into the management team of a diversified family business.

Ability to commute/relocate:
Gainsborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Livestock Management: 2 years minimum.
