Tulip has announced it is launching a range of TGI Fridays branded barbecue products for Morrisons.
A pork ribs selection pack is among the initial products, which also includes Slow Cooked Barbacoa Pulled Beef Tortilla Wrap Kit, Slow Cooked Rack of Ribs with a Tennessee Bourbon BBQ Glaze, Slow Cooked Chicken Wings and Pork Ribs Selection Pack.
The new range will be available from 23 April in approximately 300 Morrisons stores across the UK with an RRP of £4.50
Designed to capitalise on the growing consumer demand for sous vide (slow cooked) products that are packed full of flavour, the range of TGI Fridays retail products was the idea of sales collaboration partner HFR Foods.
Commercial Director Graeme Clapp said: “Consumers want restaurant quality meals at home without the hassle. For the past 4 years the sous vide market has grown at an incredibly fast pace, and by developing a range with a much-loved brand like TGI Friday’s, we hope to continue to excite fans of the brand and attract new consumers along the way. Our new range really delivers a ‘full-on taste of America’, and is designed to capitalise on the great appeal that TGI Fridays offers its customers.”
The initial range of three products will be extended to include Slow Cooked Pulled Pork with a Sweet & Smokey BBQ Glaze and Slow Cooked King Ribs with a Sweet Honey BBQ Glaze over the coming months.
