We are looking for committed & ambitious staff to join our free-range finishing team at the UK’s leading free-range pork producer, North Farm Livestock. Experience is valued, but not essential, but applicants should be confident working with animals, able to work in a team and keen to be outdoors.
This position is based on farms in & around IP9 in Suffolk.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a constant commitment to high standards of animal welfare
- Ensure site infrastructure – fencing, pipes, housing, feeders and drinkers – are well-maintained
- Work with a range of farm machinery to carry out tasks as required
- Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Have a full driving licence
Pay & benefits
- Salaries starting from £28,000 with salaries negotiable for applicants with more experience.
- Staff work 7.00am-4.00pm Monday- Thursday and 7.00am-3.00pm on Friday. Staff are contracted to work every third weekend.
- Training in the role is provided along with qualifications in the use of agricultural machinery and stock keeping
- Routes to progress into leadership positions are available for staff demonstrating commitment and skill in their work
