The JSR Farming Group is a progressive family-owned farming and
International Pig Breeding Business based in East Yorkshire.
An opportunity has arisen to work at our flagship 320 sow Nucleus Farm,
Newbottle in Oxfordshire.
Being the Nucleus Unit Newbottle is often the first to bring in the newest
technologies and boasts the use of genetic finger printing. It is also likely to be the first unit to change to full electronic data recording.
Newbottle supply breeding gilts to all JSR 3rd party multiplication sites and to the JSR commercial breeding farms.
Being a smaller farm the emphasis is on care and quality of the work and hence many of the staff find the work more rewarding in comparison to the higher throughput pressures of a Commercial Pig Farm.
This position offers a good Remuneration Package, Contributory Company
Pension Scheme, Company Health Scheme and will include accommodation.
