Pilgrim’s Europe has announced the appointment of Matt Lee as its new chief business & growth officer, effective from July 2026.
In this newly expanded commercial role, Mr Lee will lead commercial strategy, retail, brands, insights and innovation across the UK and Ireland.
Mr Lee has extensive senior leadership and commercial experience across UK, Ireland, and international markets. He previously served as chief executive, UK & Ireland at Hilton Foods Group PLC, where he led major transformation initiatives and long term growth programmes.
He is also an active IGD trustee, reinforcing his commitment to advancing industry standards and supporting commercial excellence across the sector.
Pilgrim’s Europe said Mr Lee’s appointment marks an important step in its continued evolution, strengthening its commercial capabilities and accelerating growth ambitions across key strategic areas.
