We’re recruiting for an Assistant Pig Unit Manager for an outdoor breeding unit in Suffolk, IP28.
Our client operates a 1,400-sow breeder-to-weaner unit that offers advancement and promotion opportunities to successful employees.
Job Description:
Covering all aspects of pig husbandry on a 1400 sow breeder to weaner unit and farm management
Covering for the unit manager when needed
Farming machinery operation
Adhering to high welfare standards and health & safety regulations
Achieving production targets
General farm maintenance
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 DOE

Accommodation is not available, so candidates need to be able to commute to IP28.
