We are recruiting for a Finishing Pig Stockperson for a farm in North Yorkshire, YO51.
The 4000+ place finishing unit is part of a family-run business and operates as an all-in-all-out system. The site is a combination of slats and straw, automatic feeding with pigs arriving at 35kg and leaving at 129kg.
Person specifications:
- Conscientious, reliable, and hard-working
- High welfare standards
- Experience is not essential, but would be preferred – training could be provided for the right candidate
- Have a driving license (required)
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 p/y DOE
Plus:

Hours:
- 8-hour shift Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
