Clondrisse Pig farms LTD are looking to recruit a farm manager for their site near Mullingar Co.Westmeath, Ireland
The site is part of a progressive family run business that offer a supportive environment for career development
The successful candidate will be responsible for the activities on a 1000 sow indoor unit producing 40kg weaners
About the Job role
· Organising and working alongside an existing team of 4 people
· Oversee all sections of the site with the current section heads
· Maintain weekly production figures as required by head office
· Ensure animal welfare is maintain at all times and meet all relevant standards of the governing bodies
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate
· Excellent all round experience in all aspects of pig husbandry
· Team player and leadership abilities, as they will be working closely with other members of the team
· High welfare standards with a good attention to detail to ensure the efficient running of the site
Salary: Negotiable upon application and depending on experience

Hours of work
Monday to Friday (8 to 4.30) with every second weekend (approx. 3.5 hours each day)
