More candidates come forward for NPA elections

With just three days to go until nominations close, there are now 26 candidates for the NPA elections.

There are 13 confirmed candidates for both the Producer Group and Allied Industry Group (AIG) elections, with online voting due to start on January 22. NPA members will elect 12 members of PG and 10 for AIG to serve three-year terms.

The latest candidates to throw their hats into are, for PG, Robin Bright, who farms at Honiton in Devon, and for AIG, Gemma Thwaites, from the Garth Pig Practice.

There is still just time to get your nomination in – nominations close on Monday, January 8.

To nominate and view all 26 confirmed candidates, go to the dedicated NPA election website, which also includes full election rules and a detailed history of the NPA, highlighting why producer representation matters so much to this industry.
