We are recruiting a Pig Stockperson for a pig farm in Scotland (AB53).

The family-run farm is looking for a good all-rounder for their 360-sow indoor breeding-to-weaning unit. They operate on a 5-week batch system. The farrowing houses are automatically fed. Piglets are sold as weaners at 4 weeks old.

Duties will include:

• Feeding
• Bedding
• Administering medication
• AI
• Assisting during farrowing
• Mucking out with skid steer loader
• Maintenance of buildings and machinery

Salary: £23,000 – £25,000 DOE plus family accommodation.

Typical working week – 40 hours per week plus every 2nd weekend.
