We have a new job vacancy for an indoor Farrowing House Pig Stockperson on a farm in Devon (EX9).

The enterprise has three sizable units. Their progressive pig business requires a farrowing house stockperson to join their team in their breeding unit.

The role is varied, with the main responsibilities covering farrowing-house work and assisting in other areas when needed.

The successful applicant will have:

• Excellent attention to detail and diligence
• Good sow husbandry skills
• Very high welfare standards

This position would provide the successful applicant with an excellent opportunity to extend their experience in the pig sector.

Salary Guide: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE plus housing.
Hours: 7 am – 5 pm, plus 10hrs over the weekend every 1 in 3.
