Role: Pig Manager Role – Outdoor Multiplication Unit – House Included
Location: Duxford (Cambridge)
Rattlerow Farms is one of the largest and longest established, privately owned and entirely independent pig genetics businesses in Europe. The company has over 60 year’s experience, spanning three generations, and has continuously invested in its genetics and high health which has allowed it to make enormous economic gains with producers and also retailers.
You will be working on a multiplication breeding herd of 600 sows, working in all departments from Farrowing, Weaning to Serving the animals. The site has been set up for 2 years and all equipment purchased new. The unit is performing extremely well and we want a goal driven individual to continue with the high standards and fantastic production we expect to see in the next 6 months.
This role requires a minimum of 1.5 years of outdoor management production. We are looking for someone with a practical mind set who can fix feeders, fill in paperwork, inspire their team, lease with head office on records, submit orders on time so production can continue.
The role comes with a house that is suitable for a small family and pets.

All animals are looked after to RSPCA Assured Standards so candidates must have a focus on welfare and enjoy an active job.
